I am a daughter of Our Father who is in Heaven.
I am the love of Love Eternal, who died for me on the Cross.
I am the follower of Truth whose name is Jesus Christ.
I am an ardent admirer of the Holy Spirit.
I am a great nothing, and yet so precious to God.
I am a daughter of the Catholic Church.
The Father, the Son, and the Spirit, please, never let me go astray.
I follow in the footsteps of Jesus and His many disciples. I learn from the Bible, particularly the Gospels; I learn from the Church’s teachings, and from the legacy of the saints. I learn to love. And you learn how to love by… loving, as st. Francis de Sales said.
I fall, I get up. I run to His Heavenly Arms. Like an infant, I need Him – to teach me all that matters. I need Him to show me who He wants me to be, and help me become that person – like st. Therese of Lisieux once wrote.
All I want is God.
